"A friend is one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself".
I define friendship or friends as trust, understanding and I believe that we in are lives need someone whom we can trust or someone who believes in us.It is not just sharing joy and sorrow and helping each other but its a big responsibility to know that person and understand his or her feelings and moreover to trust them and believe in them. You dont become friends with a person in a month or so.It may take months and even years to know that person and to trust them. As for me, I've really few close friends. Yeah I do have a lot of friends, but only a handful that I really trust with all my life. Only a handful I know I can always depend on.
I won't be revealing those people but yeah that's not important anyway. :)
I'm really happy with all the friends I've made over the years. I'm grateful to have lost some as well, for if not for that, I wouldn't have truly known who my real friends are. And these real friends, they never fail to ask me how my day is, talk to me when I'm bored, cheer me up when I'm upset. They may not always be there for me physically because I understand that all of us have busy lives to lead... but I do know that they will never forsake me, especially when I need them. I know that they'll always be there for me no matter what. That is what true friends are.
Friends never backstab you, friends never lie to you and friends will never doubt you.
Sure they be a tad bit too honest sometimes, but I guess that's just them. I mean, to be honest if I may say so myself, I'd rather someone be honest than lie to me to make me feel better. If you had something stuck in your teeth after eating, a true friend would tell you to remove it, to save you from the embarrassment. A true friend is one who bothers to ask you why you're feeling upset if you post a random emo tweet on Twitter. A true friend would go all out for you just to see you smile/cheer you up, even if it means them making a fool of themselves.
I don't know lah. To me, it's all these small things that matter. I'm glad I've a small bunch of these friends at least. Be it my Primary school friends, secondary school friends, poly mates and well... other friends non-related to school. :)
I know this post is really random but you can't blame an insomniac. It's 3.38am by the way. I reckon I'll be sleeping at around 5am. Haha.
So anyway I recorded this video below out of randomness and boredom in school. Just wanted to test out my new camera. The video quality is actually REALLY CLEAR, but apparently when uploaded to Youtube, the quality is reduced to what you see below. And I don't like it. :(
Anybody knows how to keep the quality of the video the same, just like when it's recorded?
Please help! Thank you!
Alrightey end of this entry. Byee!
Lots of Love,

I think what you're dealing with is the camera focus. When you were recording the focus is set on automatic, so the lenses adjust itself whenever you focus on a particular thing that is near or far away.
ReplyDeleteYou should set the focus to manual, and then if you wanna create that blurry effect like how you did on the video you can play with the focus lens by turning the focus thing (not sure what it's called)
This is an example of that "blurry effect".

But then again, how strong this effect is depends your camera lens. That's why you see people saving money to get different kinds of lenses!
Oh for my camera, there is no turning thingy for me to adjust the blurriness, sadly. :( cos mine isn't a DSLR. but thanks for letting me know :D
