TWENTY-ONE

So my brother officially turned 21 already! The BIG TWO-ONE. I'm sure everybody wants to be 21, stop time from moving forward, and just be 21 forever. I know I do. At first I thought I'd wanna be 18 forever, but nah... not till I found out how so many laws in Singapore require a person to be 21 and above. Hahah. Oh well, we're all gonna grow old someday. Even I can't believe my brother's already 21! Next year's my turn and I hope to make it a grand affair! Okay maybe not that grand, but definitely a celebration that's much bigger than all the celebrations I've ever had. In fact I've never really been the party organizer sort. I always had simple birthdays. It was always with family, and occasionally, I'd meet my friends for birthday dinner or something.
The biggest party I ever had was at the Escape Theme Park. Back when I was just a Primary 4 kid. Escape Theme Park used to be really popular then. It was always so crowded. Especially the Burger King restaurant inside the park. It was always so packed that most of the time, it was really hard to find a seat. And because of that, my dad booked half the restaurant for me to hold my party! I had over 30 people there if I can still recall. Probably more. My dad even hired a Magician to entertain us. Hahah. I remember going home to bags full of colourfully wrapped up presents. Definitely was the best birthday I ever had(SO FAR). :)
Anywho, I still can't believe that Omar and I used to look like this... dinosaur years ago that is, haha.
Woah, even my dad looked so different. He was.. SKINNY. hahaha

The 3 of us were really close last time, almost inseparable you could say. We did everything together when we were small kids. We played together, got scolded together(my mum's very strict.. hahaha), ate together, slept at the same time in one room, we even bathed together last time! Hahah. the good ol' days aye...
Now all of us have grown up.
So for my brother's 21st birthday, he booked a Suite at Marina Bay Sands Hotel! I was totally envious when I found out he did. At first he planned for a simple chalet, but then... plans changed, and he got the Suite instead.
I went there together with my boyfriend and my long-lost primary school friend, Huiting. The last time she and I spoke or saw each other was back when we were in Secondary one. Sucha long time ago.
I SWEAR THAT'S NOT A TUMMY. IT'S JUST MY SHORTS PULLED UP REAL HIGH. HAHAH REALLY!
So the moment we reached the Suite that was located at one of the top floors of the building, my jaw literally dropped open when I saw how beautiful the view was from up there.
And my jaw fell to the ground, when I saw how AMAZING THE SUITE LOOKED. Definitely the biggest hotel room I've ever been to. (duh.. it's a freaking SUITE O.o)

There was even a Balcony with a really beautiful view of the city at night! :)

The birthday boy got dunked in the jacuzzi tub too! His friend?I think his friend, Anthony dunked himself in it.hahaha
boys will be boys.
Huiting, Shafiq and I left at around 1-ish in the morning because the Shafiq and I made plans for a movie night back home! Overall? An awesome party and one I'm pretty sure my brother will remember for the rest of his life.
