Photoshoot - Roman Goddess

Photoshoot- "I was a Roman Goddess"
Behind the Scenes

.....................................................

So yesterday I did a shoot with a friend who first got me started with modeling. Andy Razali. If it wasn't for him who first spotted me back in my Year 1 Poly Days in the Library because of my long wavy hair, I don't think I'd be modeling today because I would never have even thought or dreamed of modeling at all. Hahah, so Andy's a professional hair stylist and hair is his forte. Throw him any hairtsyle, and I can assure you, he probably can do it or probably even better! So yesterday was pretty much just a very simple shoot to help Andy out with his Hair and makeup portfolio at www.andyandweave.blogspot.com . You can go check out some of his work. It's really amazing. So Andy got a photographer as well, and after a couple of hours or more(it was that long) of doing hair and makeup, we finally got down to doing the photoshoot with Photographer Taufiq Fharhan.

So this was how I looked like before the photoshoot and when I was on the way to Andy's for styling.

And after much work...

Voila! I became a Roman/Greek Goddess for the day! I swear I was really in love with the hair! And yes it is extensions. :( Wish it really were mine. Kinda makes me wanna grow my hair out that long and then curling it. hahaha

This reminds me of Lord of the Rings and I don't know why. hahah

Some photos shot with Andy's camera below:

And then my camera again: haha

Me with Photographer Taufiq! :)

Andy and I! :D

And after a long long long day, we ate!! The only thing I had the entire day was a scone that his mum baked.

Yeah lah we ate more pastries and scones! But hey, better than nothing right? Hahah.

So just a fun fact for you guys. Do you know the so called "white toga dress" above is actually not even a dress at all? We couldn't find anything Greek Goddess like enough so I suggested using my bedroom curtains to drape around me. and VOILA. We actually did it. We were kinda shocked how bloody convincing and beautiful it looked. So girls, don't waste money, just make your own clothing. hahaha!
I bet you guys thought it was a dress too right? Hehe. well, NOW YOU KNOW! :)

I'll post the pictures from the shoot up once I've got the pictures! Till the next entry.

Lots of Love,
Sofia Dendroff
