Marina barrage

Getting To Marina Barrage!

The first half of the day was spent with Amanda,Zara,Sondra,Melissa and Tina. Gee I've missed them so much. The minute all of us got together, Bimbo(Amanda),Tina and I started camwhoring. Our usual. I just love taking pictures with them, we can go on all day seriously. Hahah. Making our way to Marina Barrage was a little tricky. What's funny is that all of us planned on going to Marina but none of us knew how to get there. haha, thank goodness we somehow managed to find our way to the Shuttle Bus Stand under the scorching hot sun. Times like these I really wish Singapore had snow!! ):

So after much walking and figuring out how to get to Marina Barrage... WE FINALLY DID! AND BOY WAS I SUPER HAPPY WHEN I SAW THIS SUPER HUGE BANNER! :D My first time in Marina Barrage as retarded as that may sound.. but i was really quite excited. Heheh

So the intention of actually going to Marina was basically well, for a Picnic. But we kinda realized that nobody brought any food, neither was there any picnic mat. HAHAHH. Zara brought a Frisbee and Tina brought a Kite.

This kite just refused to fly! Well I guess cos it was handmade by Tina. HAHAH, and with newspaper somemore. I totally envied all those other kites that were flying SKY high la! ): Tina's kite tore in the end. ): Oh well, better luck kite flying next time!

Soon after, Aishah,Khai,Evelyn.Nisa and Julia joined us! :D Nisa brought a Picnic Mat this time, but it was opened for less than an hour because everyone wanted to get out of the place cos really, it was TOO HOT!

So anyway there's really not much to say about Marina Barrage! Picnic that day totally did Not happen. If it weren't for camwhoring with girlfriends, the day would be utterly boring I must say. But what made the whole day all worth so to say the least was seeing my Secondary school mates whom I've not seen in sucha long time! The last time we all met was at the Class Chalet and that was a year ago. HAHA.

Girlfriends, don't forget our Seoul Garden outing and Ladies Night outing! :D Can't wait to see you girls next!

Anywho.... after Marina Barrage all of us headed over to Marina Square cos for some reason, the majority of the group were suddenly craving for Long John's Silver. Had our dinner there. So, while the rest stayed on, I had to leave a little earlier. Wish I could've stayed longer but oh well, my mum was making helluva noise as usual. Hahah.

Overall the day wasn't too bad lah! :) I just hope our next outing will be even more fun! :)
Sorry for this really boring blog entry. I really don't have the energy to type much longer, practicall cos I spent the last 2 and a half hours uploading pictures and resizing them so that they'll be BIGGER. Ok, end of blog post!
