Building Cardboard Castles In The Air...
.......................................................................

Hey guys! This post is really really belated so I apologize for that. Anyway I wanna thank Kak Diah for allowing me to 'steal' some of the photos taken in her blog for me to use here, and thanks to Pakcik(Bf's dad) for helping me snap photos for the entire day because I was too busy building sandcastles. Hahah.

So anyway.. yes, last week, Baby's family and I headed to East Coast Park together for a Sandcastle competition! Yay! I was really so excited just thinking about building sandcastles that I had even visioned the various designs I had wanted to design in my head.
Boyfriend and I even googled for nice sandcastle designs, as retarded as that may sound.
Well it was, afterall a competition, and we wanted to win!
Most of the day was video-ed by Kak Diah while Kak Nurul was the host for the video!

Once we got there, everyone started unpacking their sandcastle buckets enthusiastically. Ok, maybe that just applies to me. hahahha

So anyway let me introduce to you the competing teams!
First up, we have... *drum rolls*

THE INCREDIBLES!! :D hahaha, what we chose to call ourselves, which I now find pretty gay when I think about it. ;P

The team consists of the 3 Bali freaks! Ili, Shafiq and myself!

The 2nd team is....... *drumm rolls*

KAK NURUL AND ABANG SOFIAN! THE "SUPER-CONFIDENT-THEY-WERE-GONNA-WIN" COUPLE! :D

After awhile, Ili abandoned us for food while Shafiq.. well i don't know where he went. So it was only me, doing the rest of the work. I was really excited about the whole thing actually, but after that day, I've come to conclude that building sandcastles is not as easy as it looks.

After awhile, my tummy was rumbling so I decided to give myself a break and eat! :)

Yummy yummy yummmy foood! The mee goreng is the shiok-ness! So is everything else!

After eating, the judges - Pakcik and Makcik, went around looking at the sandcastles that the 3 different teams had built!

Guess whose sandcastle this is?

HAHA , KAK NURUL AND ABANG SOFIAN'S! THE SUPER-CONFIDENT-THEY-WERE-GONNA-WIN COUPLE!

Next up belonged to....

THE INCREDIBLES! HAHAHA. K la, i admit it's not that fantastic but we tried ok. In case you're wondering what this is uh.. our sandcastle somewhat had the theme of a ruined place.

It got attacked by airplanes. Can you spot them?
COOL RIGHT THE IDEA?! BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW.

And the very last sandcastle belonged to...

SHARLEEZ! Doesn't it just look soooo nice? Omg, I feel so pathetic just looking at the sandcastle and comparing it with my team's. HAHAHA.

So I'm sure after looking at all the 3 sandcastles, you already know who the winner is right?
It's none other than....

SHARLEEZ NADYA! YAYYY! :D :D

It was a day well spent at the beach. I've not built sandcastles in the longest time. I think the last time I build sandcastles was probably when I was a small girl! So I guess it did bring back a lot of memories from my childhood! I'm glad I got to relive them(in a way) with some of the best people in the world! :)

To end off this post, here's the video that was recorded by Kak Diah!
Enjoy!!

Lots of Love,
