Walking Clowns
...............................................
So Ann and I have been doing sorta like 'part-time work' for a couple of weeks now. When both of us received an offer to be 'talents' for an event at Marina Square, we thought that it was all gonna be glitzy and all glamourous looking. Hah, yeah, that was till the actual day itself when we found out we were made up to look like....

THIS!!

Okay, that's not me, but it's Ann. I couldn't bear taking a picture of myself la please. HAHA, it was pretty interesting though. I learnt a couple of things about human beings. They're all superficial. Everyone one of us. We shun people/things that don't look like us. We say hurtful things about people who look different. When Ann and I were made to walk around Marina Square looking like THAT(HAHAH, OK, WE WERE IN A ROLLING TABLE LA OK), we had many people take pictures with us. And I know why...
We were basically 'rolling' freaks in a giant table. Look, it's not nice shouting "EH NIGHT SAFARI" when you see me you know. FUCK YOU.
HAHAHAH! But ok la, I have to admit it was pretty funny when we looked at each other. But stilll.... WHY ARE PEOPLE SO MEAN? Like, people practically got shocked when they saw us. Say for example, this lady. I was rolling right behind her, when she suddenly turned around and got the shock of her life. Or say the children who wouldn't stop crying. Ann and I felt really bad. Ann even had mean people calling her ugly.I mean... how fucked up is that?
Do we want to look like this? HAHHA
THANK GOODNESS THE PAY IS AWESOME AT LEAST, for just about an hour and a half of clowning around. But anyway, they gave us this job for about 2 days before we switched to another location to be something a little prettier. :)

Ann being made up.

But the wigs were pretty cool so to say the least. :P
DAY 1 - Being a Witch

Yay, much prettier! :) This time around, our job was to mingle with the children and give sweets to them! A pretty fulfilling job because the kids were really happy. ^^

Ann! :)

Soo pretttyyyyyy!!! (:

Really long lashes.

So this was the candy basket that we carried with us wherever we went. :)

It was pretty nice because noone got scared of me this time. Ok, maybe shocked to see me dressed like that, but not because I looked hideous or anything! Phew...!
DAY 2 - Being a Witch

By the way, in case you were wondering where all these costumes were from, they are all from the No. 1 Costume Costume Shop! :)
If you need Halloween stuff, you should totally head over there because they have SOO MUCH COSTUMES.
Ann and I are probably gonna head there a little earlier this Saturday to play around with the costumes and take photos.

And the transformation begins....

On Day 2 of being a witch, our makeup was slightly fiercer looking and thicker too. I find it uglier, but people tell me it's nicer? Hm.. weird.

And that's the end of my experience SO FAR. I've still 2 more days of being a witch! :) After that, I'm totally psyched to get MY PAY!!! WHEEEE, and then, I will finally be able to get my camera!
Anyways... HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY! :D
Lots of Love,
Sofia Dendroff
