Friends

The Gift of Friendship
...........................................................

Friends... what'll I ever do without them? I'm so blessed to have a small group of special people in my life whom I know I can always count on. You may think that I have alot of friends, but actually I don't. In all honesty, I don't feel the need to have alot of friends. What matters most is knowing that you have true friends. Friends who'll stick by you through good times and bad times. Friends who'll lend you a shoulder to cry on whenever you're feeling down. Friends you can turn to when you're happy, when you're angry... I know who these special people in my life are and there's never a day that I'm not thankful that somewhere, somehow, I met these angels in my life. They've brought so much joy to my life that I can't even.... gee... I don't know what I'd do without them really.

Here are some awesome quotes about friendship.

“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one.”
C.S. Lewis

“Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.”
Albert Camus

“It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.”
Friedrich Nietzsche

“A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you.”
Elbert Hubbard

"A friend is one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself."

“Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. "Pooh?" he whispered.
"Yes, Piglet?"
"Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's hand. "I just wanted to be sure of you.”
A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

“It's the friends you can call up at 4 a.m. that matter.”
Marlene Dietrich

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.”
William Shakespeare

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”
Henri J.M. Nouwen, The Road to Daybreak: A Spiritual Journey

“We'll be Friends Forever, won't we, Pooh?' asked Piglet.
Even longer,' Pooh answered.”
A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

"It's the times we're so crazy, that people think we're high. It's the times we laugh so hard, we can't help but cry. It's all the inside jokes and "remember whens". Those are all the reasons that we're best friends".

Thank you, you know who you are. :) xx

Lots of Love,
