Met Kris in the evening, and we took the bus to Pasir Ris Interchange! :) My dad was really enthusiastic about the whole prawning idea. Frankly, i think he was more excited than I was. Hahah! He even printed out a map for Kris and I so that we could find our way to the place.We still got lost though, thank goodness Kris's phone has some location map thingy, so we managed to find our way in the end.

When we got there, I was fooled by a really huge lake. I thought that, THAT was the place where Kris and I will be 'prawning', well only to realize that we were to catch the prawns within a small compound... as shown below. :(

You can see how happy we both looked before prawning. This is because, truth be told when we first decided to go prawning, we thought it was gonna be uber exciting and fun, we never knew that we'd be waiting there for 2 hours only to catch 1 bloody prawn each. No seriously. Hahaha!

We did catch a couple more, but the prawns kinda got away when we were about to reel our catch in. :( After about an hour, I FINALLY got my first catch! :D And let me tell you something, those prawns sure are HUGE and HEAVY. I was esctatic when i caught one, Kris was about to buy drinks for the both of us when my voice sort of stopped and alerted him, cos i started screaming.., "OMG, I GOT A PRAWN! OMG KRIS I GOT A PRAWN!" HAHAH, and like, so many people suddenly turned to look at me. I didn't really give two hoots la, i was just freaking happy. That's all i can say. hahaha! The picture below shows the first catch of the day! Ignore my spastic face, just look at the prawn. You may have to look closely though. The picture isn't that clear.

Looks small here right, but the prawn really is kinda huge, as compared to those kinda prawns that you see in your everyday supermarket.

Anyway if you thought that was funny, I think Kris is even funnier. I'm glad he didn't give up, cos after more than an hour, he still didn't catch anything.. :(

So anyway, we were both just sitting down, hopelessly waiting and praying for a catch, when all of a sudden, I was startled by Kris's loud voice shouting "Come here you motherfucker!". HAHHAHAHA!

Well well well..., so he too FINALLY caught a prawn. Yay! Well, it was a lot more funnier in real life.

After prawning for 2 whole hours(it felt a whole lot longer seriously), our 2 hours was up, and we decided to give away our 2 prawns to the guy next to us since we were too lazy to barbeque it. Now when I think about it, I wish I didn't give that prawn away. I could have brought it home right? Oh well.. there's always NEXT TIME!

All in all,I think the whole Prawning experience was pretty fun. I'm glad I finally got to try it, since I've ALWAYS wanted to know how it was like. Well, it wasn't all that great as it seemed afterall. Hahha, but who knows.. maybe one day when I feel i'm more up to it, I may consider going again.

P.s Thanks Kris for helping me attach the worms to the hook. I was much too afraid to even touch the live earthworm.

Nothing really exciting happened today, except for the fact that I met Kris again today! :)
This time we headed to Katong to play LAN! Hahaha.
Played Left 4 Dead and Counterstrike.
Yeah that's about it. HAHA. k bye.
