GENERATIONYP - Photoshoot Day At Sentosa ...............................................................................
If you guys don't already know what's Generation NYP, it's my school's sorta like Pageant contest to find the first ever, Ms & Mr NYP ! So, in the beginning, the only reason why i took part was because my friend Shaheena told me she joined the contest too and I thought it would be fun to just try my luck. Little did I know that she actually DIDN'T join the contest -.-
Anyway, I'm glad that although I did try to backout several times(because I'm afraid of losing.. sigh.. just that's one of my weaknesses.) I still stayed on. For me, I don't know what's worse really. Losing or embarrassing myself in front of hundreds and possibly thousands of people. Despite having family and friends tell me to join the competition and just do my best, I still can't help but feel nervous that tomorrow or rather in a few hours time, it'll be the results for the Semi Finals. Right now, I fall under the Top 30(15 females, 15 males). Now, they're gonna cut it down to TOP 20. What I'm worried is that, say if I were to get into the Semi finals, what talent am I to do?
That's right, for the next round, the performance will be at SCAPE in front of 400 over people. (Oh yeah, tickets still on sale in school outside Koufu in NYP!). Although I do hope I get into the semi finals, a part of me is hoping I don't so that I won't have to deal with the constant paranoia that people are gonna laugh at me, talk about me etcetc. It's just me being human I guess. Afterall, I know I'm not perfect. But nevertheless, if I do get in, I do hope that my voice won't fail on me that day. Yes, I'll be singing. ): I know my voice is not really that awesome, but I honestly don't know what else I could do but sing! My friend's a real joker, she told me to demonstrate my taekwondo moves to the song "KUNGFU FIGHTING!" - Everybody knows KUNGFU FIGHTINGGGG~! tenenene nenen !~ (Lame much..)
So anyway, why am I out of point? This post is about the Photoshoot that took place about a week ago at Sentosa, for the Top 30! :D
Basically, we had 2 different looks. Makeup, hair, clothes belonged to us. I didn't really do alot la, my looks are very ordinary, you may find it very similar to past looks that I've done. Didn't really go all out to buy clothes, accesories or anything. Everything I used was already what I had. So the 2 looks were : Vintage Wear & Beach Wear!

Yu rui and Gavin. The guy in the red shirt is Yu Rui btw! HE IS CHINESE. AND I CAN'T BELIEVE IT MYSELF, cos he looks super EURASIAN/ANGMOH-ish, but nooo, he is full Chinese. :P

The full body shot for the Vintage shoot. I don't know how the final pictures will turn out, but I do hope they will look good!!
BEACH WEAR
So for the beach wear, we all just looked really casual! I do wish I had bought more pretty dresses though. Sadly, even after rummaging my entire wardrobe, I couldn't find anything beachy enough.
So this was what I came up with(which you've probably seen me wear before!)

Fareez and I! Omg, he has an amazing voice. He totally melts my heart when he sings la! SUPER NICE OK.
UH HUH! HELL YEAH! HAHAH ok, this was totally candid and it looks so.... wrong. LLOL Ehh ehh... what ya'll thinking uh? Dirty minded you! tsk tsk..
Another shot was in the water, which I think looks totally unglam, cos hair was flying all over my face ):

A group shot! Spot me? Bet you can't. Like half my face was covered ): So sad.
Anyway, it was such an awesome day bonding with everybody! I had a lot of fun and I know despite all the nerves that get in the way, I do hope and I know I want to win this, and I will do my very best to not disappoint my supporters as well! :D
Wish me luck kays? :D Love every single one of you, and I apologize for the lack of updates! Just been feeling lazy of late. =x But I have plenty more to blog about(pending stories). I'll find a time for that kay?
