My bestriend turns NINE-TEEN!! ....................................................................
This blogpost is pretty belated. I know I know. I'm always really slow at uploading photos/blog entries. But in all honesty, it's usually because I'm just so damn busy! It's no wonder my friends can't help but feel hesistant at times to have their photos taken using my camera because I take dinosaur years to upload them. Hahah!
Anyway, about a few weeks ago,my bestfriend of 4 years, Melissa Stewart finally turned 19! Alas, I don't feel like the only OLD one. hehe. So she celebrated her birthday at Park Regis Hotel.It was a beautiful hotel but I have to really say I didn't quite like the way we were treated there. I'd do an entire entry on how much I really disliked it but I'm afraid I'll get sued so I'll just get on with the rest of the entry. Hahah.
I met up with Melissa, her older sister Tasha and her mum to check into the hotel at around 2pm. Mel and I were both quite excited as we were waiting to check in at the hotel's lobby.
Checking in! Woohoo!
After all the hotel's standard procedures were settled at the reception, we took the lift up to the 4th storey if I still do recall and walked through the beautiful carpeted corridor towards our room. :D
Don't you ever wonder why they're called Bell boys? So.. are they supposed to be like.. carrying a bell with them or something?
Going into the room for the first time. Please excuse the lousy quality of my PREVIOUS camera. hahaha!
Not bad not bad... the room was pretty nice but a little too small to actually hold a party!
The view outside. The pool looked so tempting doesn't it? Usually I hate going for swims in the afternoons, but this time round, I just couldn't resist NOT going.
So soon after, Mel's sister and mum left the room and only the two of us were left in the room! What did we do..?
CAMWHORE OF COURSE!!
and ordered room service. hahaha! Ohh.... the easy life! It was so chilled just laying in bed, eating french fries while watching teevo.
Awhile later, Zain and Chris arrived!
And so did Pierrson.
And Ann!
The Pinata that Daniel and I bought for Melissa! She was surprised because she didn't expect such an item to be bought. But hey.. what's a party without a little bit of surprise? Hahah! We even bought sweets and chocolates to fill the pinata up!
And soon after, everyone else came as well! :D
Like I said above, all of us couldn't resist the pool, so... Mel,Ann,Matthew,Pierrson,Sam and I went for a little swim in the pool! The rest who didn't bring any swimwear had to sit and painfully watch. I could tell they wanted to be in the pool too. hehehe so evil. hahaha
Sam I have to say..you look puny beside Pierrson. O.O
is this my bestfriend of 4 years? O.O the boy who once looked like this!
Yuppp, that's him in the middle alright! Different right? Hahah He used to be so small and skinny then.
Pierrson: "Pops(popiah aka my nickname-sofia) , take a picture of my cleavage!" *poses*
HAHAHAH
After a day of swimming, we all headed back to the hotel for the rest of the party! :))
Look at this girl. Her eyes ah... LOL damn scary.

After that it was time to cut the cake!
The cake I made for Melissa! :D It says "BFF" on the cake which stands for Best Friends Forever, of course. :D

with the help of my darling boyfriend as well. hahaha, we make a great team!

After that, it was time to WHACK THE PINATA!
IT WAS DAMN FUNNY WATCHING MEL TRY TO HIT THE PINATA. She kept missing and there was even one time she almost whacked Sam. hahaha
And.. IT FINALLY BROKE OPEN!
The party was pretty much a memorable one for Mel I hope. Despite certain complications that arose in the hotel, I still hope you enjoyed your birthday Mel!
You're my bestfriend and a sister I never had, and I want you to know that you mean so much to me as a friend and I appreciate all the times you've ever been there for me. You were with me through it all, through everything. You watched me laugh, you watched me cry. Pretty sure you saw me get angry before too.
Through all my failed reationships and dates, you were always there to comfort me or to laugh with me! Being a part of Susan Lim's Chemistry tuition class was one of the bestest things that ever happened to me because I found a true friend there, you. The little skinny girl with the big poofy curly hair I once saw 4 years ago has definitely grown up to be a very sensible, smart and beautiful girl! That's my bestfriend! :) Many many more years to come! :D
Love you forever and ever and ever bestie! :D Happy Birthday once more, despite how belated this entry is. hahah!
