MSCFashion Show .................................................................
So, about a couple of weeks ago(wow, time flies pretty fast), I was pretty much still in Humanlink(well attached to Humanlink), having rehearsals for my school's fashion show. Within a blink of an eye, the fashion show was over. I have to say, that I am a little disappointed though in the outfit that I was given. Was pretty upset for one, the hair was disastrous. My head is small enough as it is, and the fact that we found out on the actual day of the fashion show itself that all girls were to have their hair very neatly and tightly tied up into a high ponytail was very very disappointing. Friends who know me would probably know that I LOVELOVELOVEEEE Volume in my hair, and that my hair is what gives me confidence if I'm doing runway or if I'm doing a photoshoot. Ok, scratch that.Volume is key in my everyday life. If my hair was flat, I'd rather stay home.I guess you could say that, this is one of the many disadvantages that I face. The fact that I'm too reliant on my hairspray.
I remember days, I stayed home just cos my hairspray bottle finished. I remembered one time when I was in Bali with Shafiq, Ili and Bert and the hairspray bottle that I brought weirdly spilled all over in the bag(I still don't know how to this very day), I insisted on buying hairspray in Bali. Even though I had never ever heard of the brand before(Barbara I think...) , I still bought it. Needless to say, when I got back to Singapore, my hair paid the price because it was knotted into such a huge mess due to all the hairspray, the teasing and the sea water. Boy have I learnt my lesson... NOT.
You see, though I had to go through such a rough time in the salon just untangling my knotted mess which took about 4 hours over, I still refuse to go out without any hairspray. But one thing's for sure, I've learnt to use less of it now, and pick up the habit of brushing my hair more often. Heh. VOLUME = CONFIDENCE = KEY!
Anyway enough about the hair.. one other thing that didn't go so well that day was the fact that I brought the wrong heels to school! :( I remember I was so depressed(the fact that the clothes sucked, the hair sucked, and the heels), that I secretly broke down. HAHA, OK, I DON'T KNOW WHY I DID. BUT IT JUST FELT LIKE EVERYTHING WAS GOING WRONG THAT DAY. It made me mad the fact that I knew for a fact that the hair sucked, and yet when I asked people for their HONEST OPINION, they still refused to tell me the truth about how sucky it was. My head looked like a pea, not an egg know. At least an egg is bigger. A freaking pea is so small! Oh well,in the end, no matter how much I cried or grumbled, I still had to make do with it. I guess after looking at it after a while, it wasn't THAT bad luh.. i think.

Oh yeah, and do you know that I even tripped during the first fashion show in the morning because of the wrong heels? Yeah.. my life really sucks. Hahaha, thank goodness I didn't fall!It's such a waste because everything went so smoothly during rehearsals, but it's just too bad that I slipped. Stupid heels and confetti! :(
The afternoon fashion show went smoothly though.. phew! Because my good ol dad, drove all the way down to pass me the correct pair of heels! ^^ Thank you Daddy! :D
We arrived in school at 8am for hair and makeup. This is the makeup section. The hair section was somewhere behind.

Okay, she accidentally FELL right when I snapped the shot. DON'T THINK DIRTY PLEASE. HAHAH

I slipped cos of the heels and those stupid shiny confetti stuff you see on the floor! So embarrassing, everyone was so shocked, they all gasped. HAHAH.

Overall, the experience was worth it!I made plenty of new friends and it was really fun la I must say! :) Runway shows are definitely so much more fun than photoshoots(if you ask me). So, if any of you have a runway job to offer, you know who to look for. ME. HAHAHAH! K, no shame. But hey, I'm serious! :) Photoshoots also can!~ Contact me on Facebook! :) Okay, bye guys!
