The JUICEMARKET Fashion Show ...........................................................................
So last Saturday was The Juicemarket's Fashion Show at Zouk as part of Sogurt's 1st Anniversary! The day started at 10am in the morning. Super early huh? What's even funnier is the fact that I was going to Zouk at that hour. It was really weird seeing how the place looked like in the day, because well... I've only been there at night(duh). Thankfully my boyfriend, being the sweetheart he already is, was nice enough to send me all the way there despite it being 9.30am. Aww... hugs for you darling! heh.
I'll let the pictures below do the talking and 'talk' as we go along! :)
My boyfriend's addicted to this. He's always asking me to 'peck' his palm. He calls it 'Bird feed', for some strange reason. hahaha so cute lah.
I look like the only fresh one here! hehe
I swear I love my camera lah. The pictures that you see now, they're all unedited, I did not do anything to my skin to make it look flawless, these are the RAW pictures(only thing I may have done is probably just darken it a little), but didn't do anything else but that.
When I saw this shot, I was so happy. LOVE IT ALOT :D
After my boyfriend dropped me off, I was rushing like some mad woman because I was about 20 minutes late, and I thought rehearsals had already started... only to see...
Eunice inside. Hahaha, only the two of us had reached, the rest were still on their way. Now I know why people always associate models to being divas. We are, actually. HAHHA. ok la kidding. :P

Some of the eyelashes that we'd be using. Omg, super dramatic or what. I wonder if there are people who actually do use these when they go out(besides halloween la). :P
Gorgeous heels were sponsored too for the event! Isn't the Miu Miu inspired shoe above so gorgeous and absolutely to die for?! I don't know what I'd match it with if I ever had a pair like those. They're just too pretty to wear, really. Hahah. so shinyyyyyy.

After awhile, Shahirah arrived. Her story as to why she was late was super hilarious omg. Basically, she took a taxi to Zouk.. or so she thought. She was doing her makeup in the cab so obviously she'd be pretty unaware about her surroundings. Suddenly, when she looked up after a long while, she realized she was surrounded by lots of trees and greenery.
So, she asked the cab driver where she was, and he was like, "Yeah, we're almost reaching the Zoo! ahh.. there!".
HAHAHA SOMETHING ALONG THAT LINE LA. HAHAHAH OMG, SO HILARIOUS. ZOUK = ZOO? hmm... singaporeans are so funny. I guess the uncle must have found it strange to want to go to Zouk so early in the morning too, which was why he probably assumed she said ZOO.
Collette then arrived, and slowly, so did everyone else! :)
So when everyone had arrived(the girls), we headed to the stage aka Zouk's dancefloor for rehearsals. I swear it was absolutely weird seeing Zouk so empty and bright for the first time ever. Pretty cool in a way I guess. :)

So after rehearsal, all of us walked over to the coffeeshop for lunch! :)
The pressure only started to sink in after lunch because the clock was ticking and time seemed to pass really quickly also!

After lunch was more practice of the catwalk, full dress rehearsals and BAM, it was time to start getting ready for the actual show. The makeup artiste(and hairstylist) was late so we had to do our own hair and makeup. Bummer.

No editing done for these shots. I LOVE THE QUALITY LA. I think this camera makes my skin look extra flawless. :P

& This is me WITH eyeshadow. Heheh, all thanks to Shahirah! Luckily she helped me, I'm totally clueless as to how to apply eyeshadow really. I do know a little, but it always ends up looking kinda sloppy. :(
And of course, kindness is always repaid one way or another. Since she helped me with my eyes, I helped her with her hair! :)
After hair was done, it was time for all of us to put our SUPER DRAMATIC FALSIES!!
Shahirah was lucky because the one she got was not that bad. It looked real pretty actually.
Collette and I got about the same lashes. Kinda looks like moths aye? hahaha
Kay lah, it wasn't that bad actually. :)
After getting ready, it was SHOWTIME. I remember how much I was pacing back and forth backstage. It was definitely really scary because there was quite a crowd outside and what made me even more nervous was the fact that MY BOYFRIEND WAS WATCHING. Yikes!

The first outfit! Yes my face looked damn 'SIAN', I know I know. HAHAH, but this is really me, tryna give off a sexy yet serious/fierce look.
The 2nd look. It was really chaotic backstage because everyone was trying their best to change into their second outfit within like what... 2 mins or maybe even less?

The Show was A SUCCESS! PHEW! I was pretty happy yet upset when it was all over. It all passed so quickly. If I could do it all over again, I definitely would. On top of the experience, I also met a really nice bunch of girls during the experience. :) AFTER THE SHOW .................................................
Final groupshot before it was called an end to the day! Tiring man. 10am to 10pm. 12 hours. wooh! *wipes sweat off forehead*
Before I left, I took a few more final camwhoring shots with some of the girls! :)
Soon to be Pilates partner maybe? Gah, me and all my small talk. I've not gone for Muaythai for like 3 weeks now I think. Geez. And it's all because of stupid school reports and exams that have been taking place every week! :( So much to do, so little time. It's about time I start going back for Muaythai lessons. *self-talks*

And after I left Zouk,I met up with my boyfriend and off we went to bum in my house watching movies till really early in the morning. Super FUN lah to have movie nights and snack over 'kacang'(aka peanuts). HAHA. We're such bums I swear.
Overall,my Saturday was extremely well spent and a really good day! :)
To all the girls I met that day, it was nice meeting all of you :) Thank you Sophia for the opportunity :) And of course, it was nice to meet the other 2 male models(the 2 Aaron's) as well.
Till we all meet again, next time. ^^ And with that, I've come to the end of this blog entry.
