Photoshoot for Mediacorp Suria's Charity Show "Untukmu Sinaran Hati" .......................................................................
Hi fellow readers!
So yesterday I had a photoshoot for MEDIACORP SURIA!!! Was really shocked at first when I suddenly got a call from one of them(thanks to Kak Diah for recommending me to them), for a photoshoot! At first I was confused, because I thought it was some sorta prank that one of my friends was playing on me. But NOOO, it was for real! So, of course, I was super excited and all, so I AGREED to do the shoot. (yay!)
Basically, I was needed to model a couple of clothing designs designed by Lasalle Students, and these outfits, would be auctioned off online and the funds raised will be given to charity(if I'm correct)! The clothes were beyond beautiful really, and you can tell that every piece had a story behind it, and that alot of hardwork and effort was put into making the outfits.
Anyway, the moment I reached Mediacorp, I was helluva excited. It was also my first time going there, and I was already telling my dad how excited I was and hoped that I'd bump into some famous Artistes, and yes, I DID! :D
The place is realllllyyyy huge by the way!
So when I first arrived, I met up with Iskandar(the one who got me the job), and we then headed to Mediacorp SURIA. I was in shock and was totally in disbelief, that I was actually in the very same concert hall that's always aired on TV.
Yes, the very famous Suria Stage! (if that is what it's called. LOL)
TADAH!!!!
Cool right! I actually walked on the stage you know. HAHAHAHA. omg, i feel extremely retarded over here, but hey, it's not everyday you get to do that right?
The amazing guy, ISKANDAR! Definitely a reallyyyy nice guy and soo easy to talk to! :) Felt as though we'd been friends for ages. hahah
So right after, we went into a room where I got to meet with the Lasalle designers! There was also a news reporter there, and some filming also went on. I swear I didn't know I was gonna appear on the news (Suria's Berita News), till they told me after the filming!

So, after the filming, we headed to the Studio to get my hair and makeup done! I met a really friendly and talented makeup artiste called Raudha, and boy does she know her Makeup well! She's really good at what she does! It's very rare that make up artistes can actually please me la... because there were alot of times where I had makeup done by other makeup artistes but totally hated the makeup. Sadly, I didn't manage to take a picture of her though, crap. :(
So after makeup and hair(wasn't really fond of the hair done for me, but what to doo.... we were short of time, so didn't manage to do curls. So I just worked with what I had) was done, wore the very first outfit which somewhat reminded me of a Wedding gown and headed off for the shoot!
Kinda reminds me of the Addam's Family. Hahah! But the dress is really sooo gorgeous, I swear I was so tempted to get it for myself. Such intricate details, the material was lovely and the dress overall just looked lovely la! :)
Bumped into Annabelle Francis(Mediacorp Artiste), and she told me I looked like a Bride to be! Hahah! :D
See my hair so funny. LOL, but I think it'll look better in pictures la.
Met other Artistes like Erwin Shah Dawson, Hyrul Anuar, the Police & Thief guy(not Danial, the other Malay brother. Hahah)! There could have been more la, but I don't really watch Suria so I wouldn't really know either. :S
Wanted to take a picture of the photographers, but Erwin very nicely included himself in the picture! Hahah
For the second look, it was something a little more fierce, so the eye makeup was darkened and the hair was done up differently(in a less angelic/innocent way). I know I looked really fierce. LOL
Ok, stupid pose la, but they told me to smile ok. LOL.
You can imagine how nervous I was, because there were so many people around. I am used to having alot of people watch me during shoots la, but I was nervous because Mediacorp Artistes were also watching me. :P
Thanks to Raudha for the Behind the scene shots although most of it were real blur. HAHA, thanks ah woman. hahah!
After about 3 hours, we were finally done with the shoot! YAY! So, after which Iskandar brought me back to the Stage area, and we watched a little bit of the Rehearsals for tonight's Suria show "Untukmu Sinaran Hati" at 8.30pm(Go catch it, I'll probably be shown also- The photoshoot pictures, God I pray I look alright. Hahah).
Saw Sheikh Haikel & Iskandar introduced me to the duo group "SleeQ". They're all such talented people la, like they all sang really well!
I was lucky enough to shake hands and be introduced to Syarif and Alif from SleeQ! :)
The whole experience was really such a great one and I couldn't have asked for more! Hopefully I get called up for more Mediacorp assignments(got my fingers crossed!). To be an Artiste seems like such a fun job, I mean, how stressful can it really be? It seems to glamourous and carefree! Hopefully Sofia, one day, you too will climb the ladder of Stardom! HAHAHA, omg in my dreams.
Anyway, I got home, and turned on the News at about 8pm on Suria and damn, I saw myself on TV, well for awhile only la. Hahaha. Iskandar was nice enough to send me the Mp4 version of the News where I appeared in(beginning and towards the end of the clip), so I managed to upload it for you guys to see!
To those of you who don't understand Malay, it's ok, just look at the clip itself. HAHA!
Lookie Lookie! IT'S ME, on the RIGHT! :D *points excitedly!*
