So today I went to the Airport to study with Sondra. Spent hours studying Macroeconomics, trying to digest as much information as I can while sipping on a nice cup of hot Caramel Macchiato. I have to admit I was pretty distracted today, I wasn't really able to concentrate fully. Partially cos I missed someone soo badly. Hahah, and another reason was cos I was holding in my hunger because I didn't wanna eat. After studying, I submerged to temptation by having a nice banana muffin from Coffeebean. Yumyum. Shafiq messaged me telling me he wanted to meet me to send me back home. Awww super sweet right? He came all the way to the Airport to meet me! (: & When he did, I was taken by surprise when his sister messaged him telling him to bring me home because the family wanted to meet me. So after much thinking, I finally decided to go over! :D I still feel as if I was really inappropriately dressed but I'm glad when I met them they weren't the sort to judge I guess and they didn't mind my baggy tee-shirt and shorts. Hahah!
I went over and was greeted by a lot of people in the living room! My heart was racing literally, but I tried my best to keep my cool and smile! Smiling - what I do best, or what I do a lot especially when I'm REALLY NERVOUS. In this situation, yes I was. Hahaha. Met his older sister Diah, his sister in law Nurul, his brother Sofian, his mum and dad. I felt really paiseh that I couldn't speak in Malay properly to his Mum or Dad. :( Times like these, I wish I paid more attention during Malay class in Secondary schoool! Overall, I guess everything went alright! :D I'm determined to try and better my Malay. HAHAH, Shafiq if you're reading this, start talking to me in Malay ok? Ok on.
