A Day Out With The Boyfriend ................................................................
If anything, I'm really thankful for today. I got to spend an entire day with my boyfriend. And I think the both of us have grown even stronger as a couple than before. So today he asked me, "Do you have any regrets that we broke for 6 months?". And my answer? "Nope". He was stunned at first, till I told him the reason why. The reason being, "We've grown so much stronger as a couple because of that break up". The love we have for each other now, it was as strong as when we first met. The whole butterfly in your stomach feeling, the nervousness you get when you look into each other's eyes...(k shall stop the cheesiness here. hahah), despite being apart for 6 months, today almost felt like a really good first date all over again. The love I have for him is definitely stronger than before too.
Do I regret the decision I made 6 months ago?
Hell no. If anything, I'm really thankful for it.
Because of that, I know now, who it is I really love, and who it is, who really loves me. Being around him, I'm never inferior. I'm never shy, I'm a better person when I'm with him, and what I love most is that I can be myself around him(my crazy looney self), and he never judges me. He still loves me even underneath all this makeup, and he still loves me the same, with all the makeup. With him, I can be me. I don't have to hide my unglam self, because I know that at the end of the day.... glam or unglam.. he still loves me, and that's all that matters!. *wipes tears* :')
So yeah, that was the end of my little speech. Let's get on with the rest of this blogpost. :)

The day started with Shafiq suggesting the idea of heading to the Omni Theatre. Surprisingly, I was really shocked when he suggested that place. Because the last time I remembered, I was the one in the past always trying to get him to go there with me. Heheh, the wonders of how a person can change in 6 months. hehe *evil smile*.
So despite the distance(it's all the way in Jurong), we still went ahead with the plan. THE OMNI THEATRE IT WAS! :) Woke up in the morning on a Friday, and had my bowl, had my bowl of cereal. Seein' everythin the time was goin', tickin' on and on, everybody's rushin'. Gotta get down to the bu... (ok wtf sofia). HAHAH. Randomness.
But yeah, I really had my bowl of cereal. :) After which, I went over to his place to have lunch first.

I'm a vege-freak! I LOVE VEGE! :D BROCOLLI, BEANSPROUTS, FRENCH BEANS, SPINACH, JUST GIVE ME EVERYTHING AND I'LL EAT IT. Hahaha. :D

So right after lunch, it was time to drive to the Omni Theatre! :) I was so excited as it had been really long since the last time I've been there.

So after about a 45 minute drive, we finally reached the place, at around.. 4.45pm! :) Oh yeah if you guys have been an avid reader of my blog, you probably would know that Macdonalds is my boyfriend's bestfriend. In other words, his favourite food in the world(beside his mum's cooking of course). So being the Macdonalds freak that he is, he noticed this right away... (picture below)..
The fake Ronald Mcdonald. He was like, "Babyy! I CANNOT TAHAN THE FACE!". He was going on about how the face was so different from the old Ronald Mcdonald. How the fake Ronald donned a sideparting instead of hair all slicked back, how everything was different(eyebrows,nose,mouth). HAHAH. He hated the new or rather, fake, Ronald Mcdonald.
My boyfriend's a freak. hehe
So after the whole Mcdonalds ordeal, the boyfriend and I went to get our tickets. The initial plan was to catch the 5pm and 6pm shows, but both timings were sold out. So we went ahead with the 7pm show for "Sea-Rex" and the 8pm show for "Hubble"!
With about 2 hours to spare, since it was only 5pm at that time, we decided to walk around for abit. I headed to the store in the Omni Theatre to purchase my all-time childhood favourite snack! ASTRONAUT ICE CREAM! :D REAL SPACE FOOD BY THE WAY! If you ever see it, I really strongly encourage you to try it! Pictures below!
HEAVEN! You know, you'd expect something like this to be really fattening and probably over like 500 calories for such a small portion. To my surprise, when I checked the label, this little piece of heaven was ONLY 120 CALORIES! And yes, for the ENTIRE THING! I was so shocked, in a good way of course! 120 calories! woah! That's less calories than 2 disgestive biscuits(from Marks & Spencer - 160 calories for 2 pieces. 80 calories per biscuit).
This is perhaps one of the only few ice creams I'd ever indulge in!
Ah.. eyes were closed here. So anyway, after walking around... guess what Shafiq found?
THE REAL RONALD MCDONALD! HAHA. HIS FACE LIT UP INSTANTLY WHEN HE SAW THIS. Boys... *shakes head*

Oh yeah, the picture above is how the astronaut ice cream looks like. It comes with 3 different flavours in 1 picture, The brown part being chocolate flavoured. White is vanilla flavoured and the pink one is strawberry flavoured. My favourite is definitely the pink one :D love how everything melts in your mouth the moment you pop it in.
The reason why it looks so weird is also because it's freeze dried. So it feels really light(in terms of weight, and even in the mouth), and it's not cold either(because it's freeze dried). It doesn't melt either! It's the ultimate SPACE FOOD!

So despite walking around, camwhoring and all, we still had around 1 and a half hours to spare(time passed so slow today), we decided to head back to the car and just take a short nap!
This is ma' smexi face(not).
Woke up at around 6.30pm and headed to McDonalds to accompany him to eat! :)
After that, we headed to the Omni Theatre to finally catch our show! :D
My battery died at this point so I was unable to take anymore photos after. So just in case, say, I've any readers who has no idea how the inside of the Omni Theatre looks like. It looks something like this...

So both the documentaries ended at around 9pm. As the night was still young, we met up with my mum and dad at Parkway to play pool. My mum and I sat out of the game and watched Shafiq and my dad have another go at Pool. The both of them are really competitive in everything. They're always trying to outdo the other, even in bowling. Hahaha! They played a total of 5 games. I was getting bored halfway through so I decided to play video games since they had a couple of machines in the Pool Place. Metal Slug to be exact. One of my favourite video games ever! I kept dying though. It's been too long la. I wasn't always this lousy okay. I'm actually quite good at the game. hahaha.
The night ended at 11-ishpm. Shafiq sent me home and we bade goodbye. It was definitely a good day out! :) We need more days like this! Tomorrow will most likely be a lazy Saturday for me. I've already got the day planned out. I plan to laze and bum at home. Epitome of awesomeness. ;) I've come to the end of this entry. Till the next one!
Oh yeah since I've received alot of votes to do a makeup tutorial of some sort, I probably will. It might not be a tutorial though, but I'll share with you guys the products I use! :)
