So one of my bestest friends turned 20 last month and so to celebrate.... Shaheena, myself and the rest brought her to SOFRA located at Shaw Towers! It's a Turkish restaurant. It was sorta like a little mini birthday surprise since she did not expect Akhbar, Haja, Amin and Karthik to show up out of the blue with a birthday cake in hand! She was pleasantly surprised!

The food at Sofra was really good! And if there's one thing I love about Sofra is the really beautiful ambience and setting of the entire restaurant. If you want to bring someone out for a birthday dinner or just somewhere a little more romantic, I think Sofra is an ideal choice! :)
On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious too!
Some sorta cheese and meat food wrap I think. hahah.
This is how Turkish Pizza looks like! :D the bread is super soft and it's sooo cheesy too!
I don't really remember the names of the dishes because they all had Turkish names to it but this dish was Falila's main course. It's sorta like a dip. Beneath that is a little bowl with gravy. So basically you just dip the bread into the gravy! :)
This was my order! SHISH KEBAB! A MUST TRY! THIS WAS THE BOMB! :D
Some sorta cheesy baked rice - Turkish style? haha

So yeah la, it was pretty much just a very chilled friendly birthday gathering for Falila! I'm really glad she enjoyed the little birthday surprise! It was sooo hard planning it la but it was worth it in the end! :)
