So on the 10th of March, Attica held an event "Her Fabulousness" in celebration of International Women's Day. International Women's Day actually falls on the 8th of March! Betcha didn't know there was such a day right? I know I didn't. :P
"International Women's Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. In some places like China, Russia, Vietnam and Bulgaria, International Women's Day is a national holiday".
You know there are so manyreasons to be thankful for being a girl. Here are some reasons why!
We have sooo many clothing choices! Honestly, how do boys survive their entire lives just wearing t-shirts, shirts, jeans, shorts, singlets. I don't know what else they have. But all I know is, it's soooo much more fun dressing up when you're a girl.
We get to glam it up with accessories. Okay honestly, accessory wise. WE HAVE SO MANY CHOICES TOO! Step into DIVA and you'll know what I'm talking about. Rings, headbands, scarves, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and God knows what else.
WE GET TO PAINT OUR NAILS! :D MANICURES, PEDICURES!
We still look perfectly normal wearing guys clothes! Heheh, sometimes I shop in the men's section, especially if I'm on the look out for hoodies or oversized shirts! They still look pretty good on me! But, if a guy were to wear women's clothing, uh..... GAY?!
You can cry all you want and you won't be called a wimp for it... UNLESS... you're a guy. Hahaha, no pun intended.
On dates, we get our meals or everything throughout the day paid for(usually). hehehe.
WE GET TO USE MAKEUP!!! SO FUN! :D Makeup is soo useful especially on days when you're having a bad face day : zits, undereye circles... Makeup does the trick! ;)
We are potential Givers of Life (being Mothers). This is indeed such a blessing.
And the list goes! :D It's just tooo awesome being a girl!
The consof being a girl?
Girls can be extremely bitchy and catty! Sometimes they hate for no reason. And when you ask her why she hates that particular person, she'd go "I just don't like her face". Or is it because you WANT her face? I can't stand how bitchy girls are. I know I can be bitchy at times, but I'd never hate a person for no reason, especially when I have never even met them. Hahha, ok no pun intended again. ;)
PERIODS. WE ALL HATE THEM. Just a real hassle and nuisance. With the whole cramps and all. Urgh!
Childbirth. Although as women, we are the givers of life, you gotta admit that it sucks that we are the ones who have to go through 9 months of extra baggage and if that's not enough, you still have to deliver the baby which takes hours and hours to deliver and probably hurts like hell.
Men assume we aren't funny. They'd call us lame for being funny. URGH. SCREW YOU. WE ARE FUNNY OKAY. It's just your puny brain can't handle our jokes. HAHA. ok i'm kidding. Don't hate me for this okay guys... it's just that it is kinda true la... Like when I tell my guy friends a joke, they'd think I'm lame, but to my girl friends, I'm usually always funny okay. hahahaha!
And yeah the list goes on la... everyone has their own set of pros and cons I guess, but these are just some of mine! :)
Anyway, the main purpose of this blog entry is for me to share with you guys how my day went on the 10th of March at Attica! I was one of the models for the Fashion Show! :) Scroll down to see pictures.
Hair and makeup!
The changing room! The room was filled with so many pretty clothes, shoes and accessories! I wish I could have taken them all home with me! :(
So basically I had 3 outfits to wear! Sadly I only took pictures with my first outfit.It was more of an officewear kinda look I guess, hence the glasses and the blazer!
For the 2nd and 3rd look,I had my hair down and I was wearing a romper and a toga! Sadly... NO PICS :( oh well.. just imagine it in your head k.

It was pretty fun I guess! I love strutting down a runway in front of a crowd. I don't know...I just always get very pumped up for fashion shows!
After that I met up with Namira and Nadyah and we stayed for the After party in Attica! It was pretty fun! :D
But first.....
They accompanied me to Macdonalds because I was starving!! Bought myself a Quarter Pounder meal! Heheh.
I absolutely love the hair that was done on me la! So nice and wavy! I seriously need to get myself some heat curlers and start learning how to curl my hair like this! It was so pretty, I didn't wash my hair when I got home hoping it'd stay the same the next day. But I was wrong, it was so greasy the next day when I woke up that I immediately washed it. :( sigh. faill.
Oh and my Pullover is from FEMMEX. Nice? :D I love it! Keep a look out for my upcoming style blog posts on FEMMEX! Will definitely post a couple or so this week. :)
And I soooo wanna get some false eye lashes! They always look soooo niceeee but I've never worn them on my own before. :( I know nothing about falsies. Where do I get nice false eyelashes anyway? Help? :(
So... all in all... it was a really fun night! We danced all the way till the club closed! I don't know how I managed considering the fact I had been wearing heels since 5pm that day. Madness..
Oh and because it was International Women's Day, Attica Too had a Photobooth machine too! So fun! CAMWHORE TIME! I SO WANT ONE FOR MY 21ST BIRTHDAY! If i even have a big party la. haha.
