My 21st Birthday!

What's up everybody!
So as you all probably know, I've been really really away from this little space for far too long, and I'm hoping to revive this little thing soon. Starting with a blog layout change soon, I hope! Anywho, I hope everyone's been doing well. I don't know how many of you still read this space, but if you still do despite me being on hiatus for months, thank you! :)
So I just want to blog about my 21st birthday which happened last year in freaking December. Okay yes I know, it's 2013, and it's already May. So this entry is super belated but I apologize! Haha, better late than never, yes?
So for my 21st, I celebrated it at George's Bar, located along Siglap Road. It was a pretty chill spot, which was exactly what I wanted for my birthday. Something more laid back and chilled, I guess... I had initially wanted my birthday to be celebrated in a hotel, but then I thought... Meh..everyone does that these days. But now when I look back, I actually which I had gone with the cliche and had just had my birthday in a hotel. It probably would've been so much more fun! But nevertheless, what's done is done. Better birthdays to come. I think the main problem was probably the limited space and I probably underestimated the number of people who would actually show up. Things were fine at 7, and at 8.. but from 9pm onwards, it was pretty hard to walk. Hahah, yes, that crowded. But thank you so much to all my friends who came. And thank you to my Mum and Dad who helped pay for everything. The food, the venue, the drinks, the birthday cake yadayada.
Thank you for all the lovely presents! From Swarovski, Jeffrey Campbell shoes, Body shop products, Victoria Secret, Sephora, Topshop gift card and soo much more! Thanks guys, you didn't have to, but thank you so much :') It's been so incredibly long since I've received like a whole bunch of presents at a birthday, and to be honest, I really wasn't expecting any. Haha, the last time I received so many presents was probably during my 9th or 10th birthday at Escape Theme Park. And well... here I am now... all grown up...at 21 years old. A woman, in fact. I can't believe my teenage days are over. I'm officially and legally an adult. This sucks.
So anyway, I booked the inside of the bar, so it was pretty awesome to have the whole place to ourselves! There was a pool table too, and a dart board. Headed to the bar at around 6pm, and to my surprise, Junping and a couple of the other guys had already arrived! Yay, I thought I would be waiting all by my lonesome self. Hehe.

Hahah this cake above was a gift from my lovely friend Bryan Ng. Haha, unfortunately the fella was busy in Finland on the day I had my birthday celebration. But he was super sweet, he ordered this super huge red velvet cupcake and had it delivered to my house. The best part was you know what anot? It was delivered to the wrong house. My neighbour's. HAHA. Thank God, my brother went to the rescue and got it back from them.

Two of my favourite girls. Shaheena and Falila. Thank you darlings for coming and for the birthday present! I still owe you guys birthday gifts, which I have not forgotten. I suck at gift-buying. :( But, rest assured, you will get your belated gifts before I leave for Perth in 56 days!!

Okay please ignore how fat and chubby I looked. I am now a changed person who leads a healthy and active lifestyle. Hahaha.   
I think I look pretty weird in most of my birthday pictures because of the braces :( I still wasn't used to them at this point... so my smile was kinda weird. And I don't know, my makeup seems pretty messed up too. Too excited, perhaps? Hahah

My gigantic birthday cake! Such a waste though, because of how incredibly busy I was, I forgot to serve the cake. LOL. Is that even possible? To forget? I had a small taste of the cake. The management threw away the huge box meant for the cake however... -.- so we couldn't bring it home. So my dad just threw the cake away. BOOOHOOO. SUCH A WASTE. :( Oh well At least, I had Bryan's cake.

All in all, it was a good birthday I guess. We left the bar, say around 11pm or so, and then headed to Zouk to party the rest of the night away! Partied with Aaron,Jeanette, Namira, Shy, Grace, Marcus, Sean and other people. I'm so sorry if I didn't have enough time to go around entertaining everyone. It was really hard for me to talk to everyone. I am only one person okay! T.T I wish I had a bigger venue!
But so thankful for everything. :)
