Okay, so let me talk about my day t'day! :) For once, it wasn't a day spent bumming and lazing around at home, or being stuck in school for CCA or worse..spending my day at Grace's Speech & Drama Centre. Today was well spent at GEYLANG for some festive shopping with my Mom and Dad! :) I feel kinda sad though knowing that this will be the first Hari Raya spent without my Grandmother being around. :( I really miss her.. Oh well... life goes on...
Hmm...So, today I finally bought my Hari Raya clothes! :D 2 kebayas, 1 black and 1 chengsam lookalike kebaya. I like! :D Then, Mommy went around buying stuff she needed. Dad just held all our bags, hahaha. Mind you, there was ALOT to carry. Ohh and I saw this super gorgeous clutch bag, but it was a whopping $89 bucks! Pleaded with Mom and she agreed to buy it only if I let her use it once in a while. HAHA! YAY :D LOVE YOU MOMMY. (: Bought Dendeng too(my favourite snack since I was a kid), briyani, kway teow and all sorts of food! It was really crowded at Geylang, well since when was it never ever crowded?
Being in Geylang however, seemed so unsual for me and my dad,since we were never the sort who liked hanging around crowded and cramped places. To my mom, I guess it would feel like home, since she pretty much likes places like these. Hahah. I really am looking forward to Hari Raya this year! :) I can't wait to do more shopping the week after next! :) This year I hope it will be fun since I intend to visit some of my friend's houses for once. I rarely ever "Jalan Raya" with my friends. Actually, more like never? Hahha. Intend to visit Namira and Wawa's house this year and maybe more.. I DUNNO. :)
It's good being mixed, cos I get to celebrate Chinese New Year, Hari Raya and Christmas! :D Right now, all I can think about though is just all the lovely presents and moolah I'll be getting soon. HAHA, K kidding. But, well a part of me do look forward to that. Last year's best christmas present besides a hugeass big amount of money I got from my Uncle, was a Hot Pink Ipod Nano Chromatic, thanks to Uncle Kenny and Aunty Lulu! :D I wonder what it'll be this year. Oh the excitement.. ^^ *rubs hands with glee* >:)
Okay.... Before I end off, I just wanna wish HELEN A VERY HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY! :D Helen and I , we both tend to bicker alot these days, but although we do have our little indifferences at times or small arguements, we always makeup at the end of the day! :D Love you alot Helen, you're one of my bestest friends in Poly, and you never fail to liven the whole clique with your lame-ness and jumpy/hyper/giggly attitude! :D Poly just wouldn't be as fun without you(: Sorry for the late wish, but at least I didn't wish you a day that wasn't on your birthday. Hahha :D Oh yeah, the pictures below... there was one time where I accidentally said something I didn't mean to Helen and she got really upset with me. I felt like a bitch la, cos sometimes I say things I don't mean, so I wrote her a note that said I was sorry, and she replied me with a note that said, "You are forgiven" SHE'S JUST THE MOST ADORABLE PERSON EVER LA, with a heart of gold! :D
