When I was asked to do a photoshoot with Zhiwei, I was indeed very excited because I'd seen some of his work and they were truly amazing. For someone who's younger than me, he has definitely a lot of potential and I absolutely love his style of photography. Hopefully in the future, he and I will be doing more shoots together!
For this shoot, I was asked to shoot for the brand "SILENT", where the pictures shot would be featured in "Actually Mag". The links to the websites will be down below so feel free to visit the websites! :)
The entire concept of the shoot was very simple and nothing too pose-y. The shots Zhi Wei wanted were always the kinda shots that catches me when I'm most unaware. The shots when I'm at my most natural moment. Shots when I'm just being me. Easy? You could say so. But what made it 10 times harder was trying to BE JUST ME, under the SCORCHING heat. I've got to admit one thing. I got a little cranky because it was so bloody hot and I was perspiring profusely. It was just nothing but endless sweat. The makeup artiste had to constantly run up to me to dab the sweat off my face(especially my nose), and kept it matte again with powder.
Thankfully the entire shoot day still went well I must say. The sun went down a little as the hours passed. Definitely my hardest photoshoot, yet! And I'm not the only one who thinks so too.*points to Zhi Wei(photographer) and Rachel(makeup artiste).

So anyway, the makeup done by the makeup artiste, Rachel, was simply gorgeous. For the first time ever, I tried on nude lipstick. I've got to say... I definitely am going to get my hands on some pretty soon. LOVE IT SO MUCH. I never knew how well nude lipsticks looked on me! I think it'd look good on anybody to be honest. Just bold the eyes and nudify the lips. Hot hot hot!
The male model beside me is called Firdaos. :D We didn't really work on any other shots together but the one above. And yeah thats Zhi Wei doing his THANG~ on the floor.
Thank you Rachel for the behind the scene shots! :D She was in charge of my camera. hehe
Time to change to the next outfit!
Can you feel me? Put yourself in my shoes. Wear what I'm wearing in the above picture on an effin hot day. hahah
Next outfit! :) By this time, the sun sorta went down a little, or at least the heat did.
Time to pack up and go! :D
Shoot lasted around 4 hours? Or was it more? Ok can't really recall since this post is pretty belated. Entire day was good as a whole! Thanks again Zhi Wei for the opportunity! :D
So Zhi Wei sent me the screenshot above of some of the photos in the film camera(the raw ones). THEY ALREADY LOOK SO GOOD RIGHT? ESPECIALLY THE LIGHTING. The lighting was really amazing that day lah. Hopefully he'll edit more shots from above because I've yet to receive most of them. When I do, I'll share it with you guys once again on my blog yeah? :)
