21SoulBlaze's MTV Music Video "The Road Less Taken" Launch Party ........................................................................
Hi people! So finally I managed to find some time to blog! :) Been a super busy girlfriend the entire week taking care of my poor little sick boyfriend, that I didn't really have time for anything else. Aside from being a little dutiful girlfriend, I had a Launch Party to attend at Attica on Wednesday(21st December). I don't know if you guys remember me blogging about me being part of an MTV music video with one of Singapore's local artiste(21SoulBlaze), but yeah... Wednesday was going to be the first time that me and the rest of the girls in the video would be seeing the music video for the first time. So of course, all of us were really curious and nervous!
I finally had the chance to wear my Black Tutu dress too. Been dying to find an occasion to wear that out! Wanted to use it on my birthday, but didn't really have a bigass party or anything and so I didn't. Heh, love the dress in person, but not really loving it in photos. :( Doesn't do the dress much justice.
So.... shortly before the event I met up with Emily and Nadia at Clarke Quay before heading to Attica together! Little did I know.....
They got me to close my eyes and then surprised me with a belated BIRTHDAY CAKE! I just died on the spot. Ok not literally but I was so touched I think I was crying on the inside. Tears of joy. :')
& On the cake they wrote "We (heart) you Sofia".
Thank you soooo much girls! I love you all so much la! :( Thanks for being such awesome friends. If it weren't for the music video we never would have met and I'm so thankful that we did. You guys are definitely friends worth keeping.*hugs*
Made a wish, blew out the candle...
and cut the cake! :)
After which the 3 of us finished the cake on the spot! Hahah so many people were looking at us. I used the Happy Birthday sign as my spoon to cut the cake. How creative. hahah
So proud of Singapore's local talents. Who knew aye? That Singapore is actually really filled with quite a number of talented people. It's just such a pity that the Music industry in Singapore is so hard to break into. The Singaporeans who did make it far... I really admire them so much!

So after camwhoring and such, the launch finally began! At this point, the girls and I already had probably a billion butterflies fluttering in the pit of our stomachs.

They had a Fashion Show too! I was supposed to be one of the Runway Models but sadly... I wasn't feeling too good the day before the event and so I had to back out. :(

OMG THEY FINALLY SHOWED THE VIDEO! I don't have the video link but yeah... it was alright la. I cringe just looking at it. Looking at myself la. ahahah.
Even had a Lingerie show! The girls and I were just busy screaming at every hot girl. HAHA.

Just wanna say congrats to 21SOULBLAZE ! Your dreams are finally coming true man! Keep doing what you love! YOU'RE GONNA BE BIG! AND IF YOU ALREADY ARE BIG, WELL.. YOU'RE GONNA BE EVEN BIGGER! :)
It was quite a good night being able to see Emily and Nadia again! And it was hilarious watching ourselves on screen! We all couldn't help laughing throughout the entire music video. It's just weird y'know seeing yourself on screen.LOL. But yeah... till the next blog entry guys! :) Peace!
