I really love this quote because I feel that it's really so true! Don't you ever have days when you just don't know what to wear? Days when you tell your friends that you've got nothing to wear(when in actual fact, your wardrobe is pretty much pouring with clothes?)
The truth is, we can never have too much clothes. Take it from me for example, I often have so much trouble choosing what to wear out because I honestly hate repeating clothes over and over again, but let's be realistic here, I'm no Paris Hilton who's able to afford buying truckloads of clothing, so I often make whatever I have work. And well, because I'm still in school, like how I'm sure most of you guys are, I guess time is also a limiting factor. If I had all the money and all the time in the world, I guess you'd probably see me shopping every day. Probably from Chanel, to Prada... Gucci? Hahah, but because I'm still a student, I guess brands don't matter so much to me. It's all about convenience and affordability for now.
Convenience and affordability is probably the main reason why blogshopping is so popular in Singapore these days.
The one blogshop I'd like to talk about in this blog entry is "Adoring Carnations". If you've never heard of them before... well... now you have!
The best part of it? The prices are really affordable. C'mon now... $24 for a dress? Seriously? That's mighty cheap already! The moment I entered the blogshop, I was surprised to see so many pretty dresses in many different colours! The thing I really love about the clothing they sell is that, the pieces are really suitable for both working adults and for those who just want to doll themselves up(head to Town, shopping with girlfriends, go on a date maybe?).
And to more CONSERVATIVE people out there, noone ever said you can't buy dresses like these just because they're not that conservative? Why, pair it with a cardigan, a high waisted belt and a pair of leggings and you're all set!
Before I go rambling on and on, let me just show you some of their pieces that they have!
Really an eye-catching piece aye this one? Don't be deceived by the picture though, the stripes are actually blue! And hey, if you're more into the girly side, go check out the Pink one that they have(really really pretty!).
This is one of my personal favourites! For someone who loves fashion, I have to say, this piece is really nice! Play out the girly side of you in these! These pieces are perfect to wear on dates! Looking to impress the boy you've had your eye on for the longest time?
Wear this with a pair of stilettoes, simple accesories and makeup, and I'm pretty sure he'll be yours. Oh... don't forget to flutter your lashes too! (haha!)

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I guess this dress is more ideal for work though because of the bold colour = black. But hey, if you wanna wear it out with friends, family, your boyfriend, nobody's stopping you!

Tip: Because the piece is already so detailed, do not pair this with heavy accesories. Avoid chunky bangles or necklaces. The best is to not pair this with any necklace because of the neckline of the dress which is pretty high up. Pair this with a pair of heels and you're all set!

I know most people love black, but hey, there's no harm adding a little bit of colour to your wardrobe!
