'Harry Potter is.... NO MORE! :'(' .........................................................................
On Saturday, my boyfriend and I decided to catch the last Harry Potter movie at VivoCity. I'm still pretty much in denial at the fact that this will be the last movie ever. :'( Oh well.. all good things must come to an end one day I guess.
Our day started pretty early in the morning. First off, we drove down to the nearest Pizza Hut because we were hungry as hell, and Pizza Hut was pretty near, so Pizza Hut it was!
The usual side profile corner pose. hahaha.
The lighting I got here was just pure luck really! My boyfriend was just driving so I wound down the window and snapped a pic from outside and VOILA! it looked like that.
Nice huh?:)
But I guess it had to do with the different positions of the car(probably has to do with the sun too), cos you see the picture above, still me doing the same thing but unfortunately, the nice sunny effect was not there.
And finally we reached...
PIZZA HUT! Our tummies were growling really bad by then.
And because we were both tremendously hungry at the point of time when we ordered, I think we ordered a little too much for 2 people.. whoops =x
So there was Soup, Garlic bread, Meatballs,Cheesy Mussels,Drumlets and what came later?
Why, PIZZA OF COURSE! :)
Oh yeah I do know the pictures for the food could have been better but I think I was too hungry so I didn't bother much about how the pics looked. haha!
Super good! Do you guys notice that Mussels are everywhere now? If I'm correct it first started with Manhanttan Fish Market selling their famous garlic herb butter mussels- WHICH IS INSANELY GOOD.(if that's the correct name)
Then, the next place the boyfriend and I discovered Mussels was Fish & Co., which was alright I guess.. not bad but not the best! Then, we found out Swensens had Mussels too - So far to me, this is the best Mussels I've ever tasted in my ife. It comes with cheese on top and is baked to perfection.
And finally, then came Pizza Hut! Which was pretty good too! :)
After brunch(breakfast-lunch), we drove to Vivocity to catch our movie! We were like little kids, being all excited for the movie.
Okay, wanted to take a proper shot but my boyfriend was rushing me, so I couldn't. hahha, think he was pretty embarrassed when I suddenly whipped out my camera to take pictures of the cinema. HAHA. THAT'S ME. I LOVE TAKING PICTURES :)
The movie I have to say was really good, but I dare say that the best Harry Potter movie though will always be the First one(Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone). I watched it when I was just... in Primary school man. I think it's been 10 years or more since the first movie. My oh my.. time flies.
Remember how they used to look like this? (Harry,Hermione,Ron)
Look at them now. :') I think most of us sorta feel like parents to them because we were the ones who watched them grow up too. Is that weird, cos I feel that way? Although I was pretty excited watching the final movie, I couldn't help but feel sadness when the movie ended, because I knew then, that, that would be the last time ever that I'd ever be watching a Harry Potter movie in the cinema. :'( Was pretty upset the entire day really. I guess most of took advantage of the movies when they came out in cinemas. Guess we all always thought that they'd just keep coming... A pity it had to come to an end. Oh wells...
Hopefully J.K Rowling decides to somehow continue Harry Potter, but I highly doubt it because what else can happen after well.. they get married in the movie?(sorry if I spoilt it.. haha)
No matter what, I'll always remember Harry Potter movies as the movie I grew up watching as a kid.
I know we'll all definitely see Danial, Emma and Rupert in some other films one day, but never as Harry,Hermione and Harry again. :( sad...
Oh well... it will live in peoples hearts and minds forever and we will carry these stories with us through the rest of our lives. My children will know of Harry Potter and maybe even my children's children. haha.
