So... last Saturday I spent my day really busy! It was the day I had a photoshoot, the day of my Grandmother's birthday and the day my boyfriend booked out. It was definitely a really busy day, but I have to say it was a day that was really worthwhile, especially seeing how happy my Grandmother was on her birthday. :) It always warms my heart whenever I see her looking happy and healthy.
Also, not forgetting, how happy I was knowing that my boyfriend was also gonna book out on that very day! :)
So yes, I had a photoshoot in the morning! here are some pictures! :)

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!! :D
Her hair was so adorable and I have to say the other girls had really nice hairdos! I guess mine was alright. It was definitely something really different and unique. My hair definitely took quite a long time to style though. The first look that was decided on me was a 'Wet hair' kinda look. So, what the hairstylist did was to gel my entire hair with Gel. My hair was not hair anymore, it was as stiff and as hard as a rock. Besides that, it was super sticky. You can already almost try and imagine it la. just imagine, my hair being combed back with gel. Every single strand of my hair. Oh and tucked behind my ear also. hahah, and I had a side parting in front, that was also gelled to the side.
I have to admit, I was pretty upset. But honestly, I knew no matter how upset I wanted to be, no matter how much I felt like crying even(with jealousy, looking at how gorgeous the other models looked with their hair nicely curled up etc),I knew I had to maintain my composure and trust in the hairstylist because afterall, she/he is the professional one here. I have to admit, hairstylists usually hate my hair because of how tangled it usually is(thanks to the constant teasing and hairspray I use -> reason why I honestly really discourage you guys following me. haha) It looks good on the outside, but it's a bird's nest underneath. Hahaha. And I also knew that as a model, one had to be versatile, to be able to carry whatever look, no matter how ugly it may seem. But I guess, it showed in my face too much. Not too sure if my attitude was considered terrible, but I sure hope it wasn't, because in all honesty, I really tried to like it. I swear. I really did try, and I tried my best to start a conversation with the hairstylist just to distract myself, but I guess,I just couldn't control my emotions from spilling. Tears were already beginning to form. A mixture of sadness and anger sort of took over. I was upset I was given such a look, and I was angry at myself for not being able to control myself. Hahaha, really I tried. Like, I remember breathing in and out tryna stop myself from crying. HAHA. lame right I know. But I honestly wanted the photoshoot to go well.. but oh well, not too sure if it did.
But anyway, I guess I was saved in the end when the hairstylist decided to change my hairdo. Only because the person in charge of the shoot realized how horrible it looked on me, probably. haha, guess my head just doesn't suit such styles. oh well. So they decided to take my already stiff and gelled up hair, and comb it upwards to sorta puff the sides up(I somewhat resembled a poodle).
Here's a preview of how it looked. The poofy-ness sorta died down though, it was way poofier during the shoot.
haha the top wasn't that bad cos I ruffled it up a little. It actually was wayyyyyy neater than what you see.
But yeah lah, kudos to the hairstylist too. I know she wasn't too blame because she only followed orders, and I guess nobody was at fault too, because who was to know it would end up looking a disaster right? All in all, despite the hairdo, the day went pretty alright. :)
After the photoshoot, I headed straight home, took a shower and washed my hair about a couple of times to remove all the gel from my hair. :D shiokkkk. Ater that, I headed out with my family to meet my Grandma for her birthday! We brought her out to dinner and later, dessert!
We all had dinner at Ayam Penyet Ria! The best Ayam Penyet stall ever! Oh and if you guys have never tried the Soto Ayam, please do try it. It's heavenly!~
Younger brother, Shahadan. :) Very low profile fella. haahah

See my grandma? :D and yesyes, I know what you guys must be thinking. She looks so chinese! Not Eurasian! That's because my dad's mum is Chinese, Peranakan to be exact.

After having dinner with my grandmother, I headed home to change and then head out again to meet my boyfriend at his place! :) Had yet another chilled night watching movies etc, our favourite pastime you can say.
The day honestly went really fast because before we knew it, it was Sunday already, the day he had to book in to camp once more. :( ah well... what to do... this is the life of a soldier.
