I still can't believe it.... Has 3 years really gone by? Just yesterday I first stepped foot into Nanyang Poly. Or perhaps it has only felt just like yesterday. I still remember how excited I was the night before the very first day of school. I remember frantically rummaging through my wardrobe in search of the perfect outfit to wear. I'll admit to ya. I was excited that for the first time(besides Nursery and Kindergarten of course...), I was going to be studying with... BOYS! Hahaha! Well you can't blame me, I was from an all girls school. Despite being located just opposite a boys school, 'St Patricks', the experience is still different nonetheless because I never did talk to any Patricians. Aside from one of my ex boyfriends who was a Patrician. I was just a really shy girl I guess... especially towards boys.
I used to dress up for school every day, and I remember 'spotting cute guys' in school with my girlfriends, particularly Falila. No life right? Hahaha, c'mon, I'm sure all girls do that with their girlfriends, be it in school, in town or just basically anywhere and everywhere you go la. Hahah! I'm really glad to have met Falila. She's been with me since Poly Year 1, honestly one of my bestfriends. We both pretty much have the same type of personality except I think it's pretty obvious enough to say that she's wayyyyyy nicer than I am. Her heart is so huge, I don't think anyone else can match up to her lah. I've never ever seen her get angry, and even if she ever does, she always stays calm and somehow manages to smile her way through it. Really admire her. :) OHHHH.... and she's the only person I know who is as vain as I am, or probably vainer. Hahaha. Okay I won't say I am self-absorbed but I guess I take ages in the toilet because it always seems like my hair's a mess all the freaking time. I used to think I took the longest in the toilet... till I met Falila. She takes even longer than me sometimes.. Hahah! I guess our many 'long toilet experiences' also somehow brought us closer together because we used to laugh and gossip hell of alot in the toilet whilst doing our hair.... makeup etcetc. :)

Falila and I! :) look at how different SHE looked! She has definitely grownn sooooo much prettier over a span of just 3 years! Natural beauty lah this one.
I used to wear dresses all the time in Year 1. I had heaps of dresses in my wardrobe. For some strange reason I had an obsession with anything flowery. Floral dresses , floral rompers.... I even had different coloured flower wristbands to wear to school everyday(the kinda rubber band that had a hugeass rose attached to it). Hahaha, didn't even realize but the boys in my lecture class(whom I didn't know at all hahah), started calling me 'Flower Girl'.
HAHAH, looking so retarded here. 'Tryna act sexy' but FAIL. Falila and I used to catwalk in the toilet la, take pictures of each other etc. These 2 pictures were taken before I started modeling. Never knew I'd end up doing modeling for REAL one day. hahaha. never in my wildest dreams man.

Anyway Poly Year 1 was definitely loads of fun! Especially being in such a big clique! :) It was only in Year 2 however when we had to split ways. :( Thank God I had Falila and Fariha in the same class as me at least.
YEAR 3
Being in Poly I guess has its fun moments la. My most favourite projects are always those that has 'Skits' involved. I guess acting is pretty much my thing? Hahah. I love being in front of an audience acting all silly and just making people laugh! :D
For one of our projects, my team members and I did a skit on 'Harry Potter'. And yes we made all our outfits! :D Including the 'Sorting Hat'! It was so much fun! One of the most fun projects ever. :)
Hahahaha! Me with the 'Ellen Degeneres' wig! Guess who was Ellen? . . . . .
FALILA!!! HAHAHA! Her skit was also pretty damn hilarious. Falila was such a clown I swear during the skit. If only I had recorded the skits la... dammit.
We even had a 'Lady Gaga' skit. hahaha
In other skits that I did, I was even an Indian cleaning aunty called 'Kavitha'. That has got to be my favourite skit because I remember making my classmates burst out laughing so much. There's always this unexplainable satisfaction I feel each time I make someone laugh or happy la. Hahaha. I'm such a goofball -.-
Sigh... although there are times I dread school. I know I will definitely miss it. I'll miss waking up early and taking the train... (ok wait.. shit. I always take the cab). HAHAHA. ok scratch that part. The point is... I'll definitely miss going to school. Nanyang Poly was not my very first choice. I wanted to go to TP really badly but hey there must have been a reason why NYP chose me and why I went to NYP. Maybe it was fate? For me to realize for myself what it is I wanted to do with my life. I honestly couldn't be more sure that ever that a Media career is definitely what I want to pursue. But I guess only time will tell what fate really has in store for me!
I'm gonna miss the class of BD for sure!! Here are some pictures that we took on the second last day of school, after a presentation.

So yeah lah... next week is my last week of school(exam week). After 23rd of Feburary, school will officially be over. I'll have no reason to come back to school ever again, other than graduation in April! Definitely had so many fond memories in Nanyang Poly. I'm also extremely thankful for all the friends that I met throughout the 3 years. Some I've never failed keeping in touch with, and some maybe I may have grew distant from since Year 1, but nevertheless, Thank you for making my school experience a really memorable one. I love you guys! and despite Nanyang Poly being a bitch for being soooooooooo far, I'll miss traveling to school. :( God, never knew I'd say that. But hey, I did. Goodbye Nanyang Poly!
Now all that's left to do is to study my ass off for the last 3 exam papers ever! 'FIGHTING!!!' Heheh, korean drama freak.

Had this yesterday! :) Grilled Salmon with Asparagus and Cherry Tomatoes, accompanied with a small portion of Mango Chutney! Absolutely delish! :) So I was also thinking.... would you guys like it if I had a 'Food section' in my blog? Where I give recipes to healthy and delicious home cooked recipes? My mum always cooks healthily, so I thought maybe this may just be a good idea. Idk, tell me whatcha think!

It's reallly good I kid you not! 2 pancakes with turkey bacon in between(which you can't see), topped off with scrambled eggs on top! Maple syrup and melted butter at the side! :D

Oooooo and to make you drool even more. I had this on Valentines Day! :D Had waffles and Ice cream at 'Udders'. The one I went to is located at Siglap! :) I remember first trying out such a dish and falling madly in love with it at 'Gelare', but sadly I think Gelare is no more right? :( Do you guys know if there are anymore Gelare outlets left in Singapore? TELL ME PLEASE. I WILL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL! :D
