Family + Announcements .................................................................
A few weeks ago, my family and I decided to have a barbeque at East Coast Beach. My dad has always been wanting to have one. He always talks so much about it but nothing ever gets planned. We're proscrastinators. My family and I. Hahah, but strangely enough, no matter how last minute we are as a family, the job always gets done. Say Hari Raya for example, everyone has months to plan ahead, to buy new furniture, paint the house, buy hari raya goodies and whatnot. My family? We believe(or rather my Dad believes) in doing things last minute. Hari Raya can be a few days away or perhaps even a day away and instead of seeing us at Geylang doing our Raya shopping months or at least weeks before, you'd probably spot my family and I frantically scurrying through Geylang picking up things we need a day before Hari Raya. Hahah, that's us. But we always have fun before Hari Raya. If there's one thing I really enjoy about Hari Raya is the togetherness I feel with my family. We'd go out shopping together, paint the house together, clean the house together.... hahah. it's alot of work but it sure is fun.
Family means alot to me. I know I wasn't born into some super duper rich family but I'm content with what I have now. I couldn't have asked for more. You know the saying 'You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family', so instead of whining and bitching, you just make the best of it and just enjoy each other's company! :) Family will always be there for you no matter what. Sure, parents can be annoying at times with their incessant amount of questions, especially since I'm sure there are days when we just don't feel like talking. But at the end of the day, they are the ones who truly care.
The barbeque with my family was pretty fun! We've never really had lots of family outings I'd say which is why I always try my best to be present at every family function! Besides my family, my cousins were there too(from my mum's side of the family).
My uncle, who is really a joker. He and my dad get along pretty well together since both of them joke about everything, even the lamest of things. Like I'd ask my dad 'what's cooking?' and he'd say he's gonna barbeque a cat, then they'd both start laughing(honestly don't know whats so funny. LOL), and then my uncle would add in that they were gonna barbeque an Iguana next, and then BOTH START LAUGHING. LOL. I JUST DON'T GET IT. HAHA.

Oh yeah we actually recorded a video of us singing 'Love you like a love song' but it was horrible so we deleted it. :P

Afterwards the girls and I headed to the beach to take pictures and do jump shots! :)
Sahirah has this super cool camera! Cool isn't it? A lomography kinda camera. I don't know much about these sorta cameras but it looks too cool!
So that pretty much summed up the barbeque we had! More barbeques to come for sure! It was really nice just sitting with my cousins, family and just talking! :)
The next outing I'll be blogging about is sorta like a 'Famil Reunion Dinner' that I had with my dad's side of the family! We headed to East Coast's Jumbo Seafood restaurant for dinner!

The place was swarming with people! and mind you, the food there isn't cheap! Singaporeans sure do splurge when it comes to good food..
My aunt and I teaching my grandmother how to use her iPhone4S. Hahah so cute la, she actually has an iphone! How hip does she wanna be?
On top of that, she recently even got herself a new iPad!! But I heard from my aunt she doesn't do much on it except read from the 'Online Bible' application. hahah, my grandma's too cute (:

Dinner was so delicious I swear. Don't recall having such good food! I enjoyed the lobster the most but everyone was grabbing at it I only had a few pieces before it was all gone. Dammit. Hahah, I'd definitely recommend Jumbo Seafood to anyone. The bill at the end of the dinner was insane! LIKE REALLY INSANE I DON'T EVEN WANNA MENTION THE AMOUNT. Almost close to 4 figure. Felt so much guilt at the end of the night but nobody was complaining. Guess it's cos I'm still a kid and so it seems like heck of alot of money to me.

It was another great family bonding day! And this time with my dad's side of the family, which is really small la. The 'Dendroff's' in Singapore are only a small bunch and so if you ever bump into a 'Dendroff', that person is most definitely related to me. Hahah.
::ANNOUNCEMENTS::
Anyway guys, I have a few updates to make!
Firstly,
I'm currently in the process of opening a blogshop! :) Stocks have been bought for the first collection already and so I do hope you guys will support me! It's pretty much a partnership with 2 of my fellow friends, Cleon and Junping. So yeah,it's 'our' blogshop! :) The first collection will be '1 piece per design' because we want to know if it'll be successful first(I hope it will!). The pieces are pretty nice too, handpicked by me! :D
So please do stay updated on my Twitter! I'll be stating the opening of the online store and launch of the collection over there! :D
Secondly,
On the 10th of March, I will be one of the models for the 'Runway Event'! So, it would be awesome if you guys came down to support! :) The entire event is in celebration of 'International Women's Day'. Even if you're not there to support, just come down because I'm sure it will be heaps of fun!
