The past few days have been a real rollercoaster ride. Besides having to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to handle my new 'job' in school(school attachment), I've had some other 'downs' in my life. People I've probably let down and disappointed. I don't know if they've actually forgiven me, but I do hope in time they will. Sometimes it's easy to forgive, but never easy to forget. Speaking of forgiving.. it amazes me how my boyfriend is such a forgiving person. I think there were many a times when I've said the wrong things to him... did the wrong things, made him upset etc. But he always tells me at the end of the day that, he doesn't care about all that, because at the end of the day, he's gonna carry on loving me even if I don't love him. He always says that.. but he doesn't know how much I love him. I've never liked any boy as much before. In fact, I've never loved any boy as much. I know I've God to thank for, for bringing the both of us together. So, Thank you God.
And diary, people always think I'm bragging about my relationship, but they know nothing. They don't know how proud I am to call him my boyfriend, how proud I am that he's mine that sometimes I guess it comes off as bragging, when that clearly isn't my intention. It upsets me. :( Oh well, I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion at the end of the day, whether or not, it's good or bad. Right Diary? :)
Anyway, Father's day is coming up, on the 20th of June. I've noooo idea what to get him. I wanna do something nice for him this year, because he has done and sacrificed so much for the family, and I must say, he's the best dad in the whole universe. Haha, though I'm pretty sure everyone would say the same thing about their own dad. :) Any ideas? I wish my oven was working.. it would be soo nice to be able to bake a cake or something for him! Gah, guess I'll have to think of something soon! Talk to you later diary!

Blog Entry: A Visit To The Singapore Zoo ...............................................
Hey lovely readers of mine! :) So about a week or so ago, the boyfriend and I headed to the Singapore Zoo for a change. We're always watching movies, movies, movies and I guess I miss having some real FUN and ADVENTURE. :) I've always loved the Zoo since I was a kid. Everytime I go there, I'm bound to enjoy myself. I just love animals so much! Don't you? If I had to pikc my favourite animal at the zoo, it'd definitely have to be the goat. Cos I remember whenever I visited the zoo when I was younger, I always used to feed the goats without fail. Somehow it's different now, sadly. :( You have to pay to feed the animals. :( And I love goats because I'm born in the year of the goat. HAHA. CUTE K! MEHHH MEHHH!*goat voice*
So the day started with us enthusiastically meeting at 10am in the morning! :D Shafiq's mum was nice enough to pack lunch for us so that we wouldn't starve in the Zoo. You could also say, we wanted to save money! :D Thank you Makcik for everything! You know the zoo has this like ultracool scooter thingy that you can rent for about $25 I think. What's so cool about it is that you can totally DRIVE AROUND THE ZOO ON THAT, and you don't even need a freaking license! :D I wanted to try, but baby said it looks lame. He uh.. always want to look COOOOOL only. hahahah. Nvm, I know I'll try it someday! Anybody in? hahaha.
The sucky thing about the day was that, it was drizzling. sigh, why does it always rain whenever I head to the zoo? Is it just me? Abang Sofian called me a jinx, because the last time we all headed to the Zoo together, it rained also. :( But thankfully it wasn't a heavy rain, so we were still able to walk without taking out our umbrella. So, before you guys fall asleep reading what I'm typing, I shall type as I go along with the pictures! ;) Read on!
Yay! Heading to the zooo! woohooo! After many failed attempts at trying to get my boyfriend to go with me, he FINALLY agreed. There are so many places I wanna go with him but always doesn't want to. He calls me a tourist for always wanting to visit tourist attractions!
Eg: The Science Centre(The last time we went, it was super boring. haha!) Discovery centre(TOTALLY NOT BORING K, I WANNA GO!), Botanic Gardens(this is not even a tourist spot la), Night Safari and so on. It's not my fault, the tourist attractions are always some of the best places to go. They're fun k! :)
So after driving for quite while allll the way to Mandai, we finally REACHED! :D I was sooo happy when we did! You should have seen my smile. I almost looked like The Joker from Batman for a second.
Saw some cute cows and took photos with it! Amanda, you'd totally love this wouldn't you? You Cow fanatic! HAHA!
We didn't need tickets since Abang Sofian was SUPER NICE to get us free tickets!yay! Thank you Abang Sofian! :D

This jeep has been here for the longest time! God knows how long! Funny thing is, it still looks the same as when I first saw it dunno how many dinosaur years ago.
I couldn't help but laugh when i saw this. This big nosed monkey(yes it's called that in the zoo,HAHAHA) looks so much like one of my cousins. HAHAH. Well, not look like luh.. but reminds me of my cousin. HAHAHA.
These otters are mega cute! They were readily posing for the cameras! :D This is like the first time I was ever soooooo close to an otter. So cuteee! I want one as a pet. Is it legal to have one as a pet in Singapore? hahaha
I absolutely love the White Tigers. They're such a beautiful Cat breed.
The view was beautiful, but sadly this photo doesn't do it much justice. Ahhh DSLR, I WANT YOU SO BAD!
After pestering my boyfriend to ride on the Horse Carriage in Kidz World with me, he finally gave in and agreed! :D But due to the rain, the ride was temporarily closed. :( But nevertheless, I still love Kidz World, all the fun stuff are there! The Water Park, the GOATS, pony rides, and who can forget .. KFC! Yumyum!
I wanted to ride the Carousel but my COOL boyfriend didn't want to .. again. Is it my fault I'm still such a kid at heart? boohoo. :(

Omg I just feel like whipping out my comb and brushing his long hair! Perhaps do some braids too. Omg imagine if a horse had braids, that would be MEGA COOL! and weird. :/
Awww.... this is why I love animals. Why are they just so adorable even when they're just sleeping??? Look at this goat! Aw so cute luh! Sleeping on the other goat's backside. hahaha
After that, we headed to the ANIMAL SHOW! It's newly opened with new animals and tricks so if you're planning on going to the zoo, make sure you watch the Animal show! :D
Both Baby and I were suddenly feeling hungry and we whipped out the Sardine Curry Puffs that Makcik made for us. That's right, she made them! She's so skillful when it comes to cooking! A really great cook! :) The curry puffs were so crispy on the outside, yet so soft and moist on the inside. The consistency of the sardines and spiciness was just right! :D Yummy! Ate curry puffs with baby while watching the show. Luckily for us, no animals were jumping on us! haha!
After the shot above was taken... my camera died.. because lazy me didn't charge it the night before. HAHA, soooo I decided to use bf's iphone camera instead hence some blurry shots!
The animal show is really so cute! You'll see RATS, DOGS AND CATS PERFORMING! :D Come on, how can you ever train a RAT!!

After the show, baby and I headed to the Kampung located in KidzWorld. It was like an insight of how the olden day houses looked like.

Omg I can totally imagine this 'scene' from a scary movie. Picture this. I'm looking in the mirror, camwhoring, when SUDDENLY!! the doll behind me in yellow, slowly lifts his head up, looks at me and plants a wide grin on his face. OMG, how creepy can that be! hahaha, think I watch too many horror movies. :P

It's really cool inside because you get to go close up with some of the animals, and inside there'll be like ducks waddling freely, pretty butterflies flying here and there as well, all in the same cage as you. So they're not caged up! :D

And this one is just scary! It was reallyyy close to me, and it was looking at me straight in the eye as I took this picture. Luckily it didn't like fly in my face or something. I swear I was getting goosebumps.

After that, it was time for ANOTHER SHOW at the Shaw Amphitheatre! :D This show was definitely the most entertaining! It's called, ___ fights back! or something. If you visit the zoo, be sure to visit this place!
I know Baby and I enjoyed this alot! To this day we can't help but laugh at the 'Wiseman' with the long robe and bird on his arm, and the tribal men dancing. Damn funny la. hahaha Wiseman: When There's Water, There's Life.

So we just carried on walking viewing other animals. We didn't see all the animals because we were kinda tired from all the walking. I very much wanted to sit on the Elephant ride too but I just couldn't wait till 4pm for it, it was too long!

Just cos this animal had a single horn on his head, he called it a unicorn, and the funny thing is, he was totally calm when he said it, and he really stood strong by what he said. When I told him unicorns don't exist, he was in denial. hahahah! Baby baby...
The last animal I took a picture of was the Rhino! You probably might be wondering why is the Rhino sooo close to me! Well that's cos, at the very end of our 'date', he decided to download the 8 megapixels camera on his iPhone, so i was able to zoom in. Hahah, the irritating part is .. WHY DIDN'T HE DO THAT EARLIER? pshhhh. hahaha
Anyway this is the end of my Zoo Post! I really encourage you guys to head to the Zoo la, it's a really fun place to go on a date. Imagine you and your bf/gf, working together holding a map trying to navigate your way around the huge park. You'll both spend so much time working together and talking, you're bound to have a good time! :) Take care all!
